Ever since I can remember, I’ve had a thing for ordinary. Actually, to be clear, a distain for almost all things ordinary. I much prefer the word extraordinary. In fact, extraordinary is in my top 10 in terms of favorite words. Hard to pinpoint exactly, but I think I like the “extra” in extraordinary.
To me, ordinary is average. Boring. Blah blah. Common. Unremarkable. Certainly, not the traits of a proper gentleman. On the contrary. Gentlemen are interesting and unique and works hard to be above average. For those gentlemen out there who have a similar mindset and philosophy, I hope you enjoy my first and last poem!

Ordinary doesn’t have a game plan.
Ordinary doesn't exercise much.
Ordinary doesn’t strive to do great things.
Ordinary doesn’t care about making the world a better place.
Ordinary doesn’t care about being disciplined.
Ordinary doesn’t like hard work.
Ordinary doesn’t make time to continue to learn.
Ordinary doesn’t like to sweat.
Ordinary doesn’t give 110% every day.
Ordinary doesn’t work smart.
Ordinary doesn’t go the extra mile.
