Our Story

Thirty-three years ago, John and Patrick met as freshman at Benedictine College, in small-town Atchison, Kansas and have been friends ever since. For the last three decades they’ve been laser focused on their careers and both absolutely love their day jobs. John is the Founder of 37 Global and Patrick is the CEO of the U.S. division of The H&H Group, a personalized gift company.

For the last year, they've been meeting on Saturday mornings at a local Kansas City coffee shop to discuss creating an exclusive line of men’s accessories that they could eventually pass down to their five collective sons. Thoroughly inspired by Matt Hranek’s WM Brown men’s lifestyle magazine, Alex Holderness & John Bourne of Holderness & Bourne, and Richard Greiner and Andy Forch, the founders of Huckberry, along with some strong encouragement from their wives, Angie & Kate, they made the decision to start J. Patrick & Co. on April 1st, 2023. Despite officially forming their new business venture on April Fool’s Day, they are completely serious about curating products for guys who appreciate quality men’s goods.

Although they have countless ideas for products, they decided to start with a handful of everyday carry essentials, and they couldn’t be more excited to share them with you! Admittedly, they carefully obsessed over every single detail to ensure their first products turned out perfect. They hope you love them as much as they do!
